The genie smiled kindly. “That is a fair wish. But remember, Jack, think carefully. Once you make your wish, you must accept whatever comes of it. Now, make your first wish.”
Jack thought long and hard. His first instinct was to wish for a way off the island, to return home to his family and friends. But then he paused, realizing that there might be more to life than simply escaping. He had been alone for so long that he had time to reflect on his life and the things he had taken for granted.
After a few moments of silence, Jack spoke up, “I wish for a life full of adventure, where I never grow bored and I always have something new to discover. I want a life that’s exciting, meaningful, and full of surprises.”
The genie nodded approvingly. “A wise choice, Jack. Your first wish is granted.”
